Find your way. Metaphorical cards in an era of change

We live in an era of change: old ties and structures are collapsing, the new is stepping on the heels of the old and winning its place under the sun, explicit and hidden conflicts break through and crawl out in the unsightly form, and in the middle of this bright freak show you are standing, lying, or maybe sitting. Someone gets high, and like a petrel asks for a new portion of the storm. Another one builds a new structure and neural connections in the resulting chaos, while someone has neither the strength nor the desire to move even a small part of their body. What can you do or be or not to be?

In such a case, for everyone (no matter in which group you find yourself: active pessimists, glib optimists, or typical realists), I take out the Deborah Blake “Everyday Witch” deck, which through images helps to find your elixir of happiness in this changing world.

You can ask any question from how can I find balance in this situation to what will help me invent a cure for fear and look at the 6 cards that are in front of you. Choose the one that resonates the most and open it in the gallery. Look at it. What do you feel? What associations come to you when you look at this picture? What opportunities does it open for you? What strengths / capabilities / skills can you rely on in resolving the issue?

Take your time, feel the card, connect with it and its energy within you. Stay in this state for as long as you need and see what has changed around you.

Nine of Wands - “I'm still holding on. Even if you are badly hurt, you will survive to fight another day, or maybe you won't have to fight at all; position may change.”

Ten of Cups - “An impossible dream has come true. People make us happy, not things. Life brings happiness and prosperity.”

Ten of Pentacles - “And they lived happily ever after. Happiness is more than money; success is more than wealth. Abundance is different. Live every moment in its entirety, especially if close people are next to you.”

King of Wands - “Plan for the future, act in the present. In pursuing your goals, be persistent and determined. Take fate into your own hands.”

King of Swords - “Come to me for advice of the mind, not of the heart. Sometimes it takes a cool head and a lot of experience to be wise.”

The High Priest - “The highest wisdom is open to all of us. Seek wisdom within and without.”
